Day 10 - Visit from Green Bay

So, most of the day was pretty uneventful.  Amelia and I went on a Pokemon GO hunt in the morning, then we came back and spent some time with Mom and Grandpa.

We did have a visitor in the early afternoon, a friend of mine and a coworker, Denise.  She and her husband came by and brought Amelia flowers, with green flowers, her favorite color.  Amelia really enjoyed the flowers, and I enjoyed getting to chat for a bit.

The big event for the evening was dinner.  We had one of the punters for the Green Bay Packer and his girlfriend here making dinner for us.  Justin Vogel, who just completed his rookie year with Green Bay was here.  It was an interesting time getting to sit and chat with him a bit.  It was even more fun listening to one of the 13-year old girls who didn't know anything about football ask him some of the craziest questions.  All of this while we were watching Winter Olympics in the family room.

Amelia was happy, full of energy, running around and playing.  It was great to see her smiling and happy and so much like her normal self.  It is nice to think that this will be over sooner rather than later, but I don't want to get my hopes up until we are checking out and on our way home.

Again, thanks for all the prayers, good thoughts and for following Amelia's journey.  She is doing good, though continues to be interested in food (a good thing) and hopefully will be ready to start learning to eat again in the next couple of weeks.
